Welcome

For over 20 years, I have journeyed through the ever-evolving landscape of art, exploring a myriad of mediums and techniques. This exploration is driven by a profound desire to create and connect with the Divine through the beauty of nature.  Through this journey, I have discovered my unique voice as an artist, expressing deep gratitude for the remarkable experience of existence in the present moment. Beauty is omnipresent, and each adventure and exploration reveals more of the stunning natural world that we are blessed to enjoy.

The painting process, whether it involves portraits, still life, or landscapes, is a deeply satisfying and therapeutic experience for me. It transcends the need to create art that is seen, sold, or promoted, focusing instead on fulfilling my personal love for painting.

I am particularly drawn to watercolour and oil mediums, with landscapes and portraits being my preferred subjects. Recently, I have embraced en plein air painting, which has significantly enhanced my understanding of colour mixing and the vibrant nuances of life compared to working from reference photos. Painting from life is exhilarating and invigorating, albeit a bit daunting when onlookers pause to observe.

Currently, I am working on a series of landscapes inspired by a recent camping trip to Tasmania with my husband, Craig. This journey was truly

awe-inspiring. You can follow my blog for updates on my painting process and other interesting art-related topics. Stay tuned for new posts!
